Sometimes, it's easier to just keep driving. Until it isn't.
In the times we live in, it is all too easy to play the role Dory in Finding Nemo. "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming"...without an awareness of whether or not you really 'have enough' or are even roadworthy for the journey. Often times, it is because the gauges of our own souls are fundamentally broken. The Church, as well as the culture at large, is loaded with people who think they are operating on a full tank, when in fact, their souls are on empty. Or perhaps the engine is burnt up. Break pads are thin. Tires are out of alignment. You name it. I am preaching the to choir here. Guilty as charged. Just make sure, before you get back on the road, you are in good condition. Check-in with the Master Mechanic. Have Him run an inspection. Top off the fluids. Filler up. Don't be a danger to yourself or other drivers. If you're on empty, talk to somebody.
